Apply

IT looked after from a distance, start to finish

Apply is a group of engineers serving Austrian SMEs, law and tax firms, medical practices and online retailers purely over remote connections. Logos and headline numbers are absent here on purpose. Instead this page covers the things buyers tend to ask about before committing: the path a request takes until it is closed, the house rules our engineers observe, the paperwork we sign and the kinds of job we say no to.

Our remit

Six strands of work, bookable one by one or as a bundle. The bundle pays off in a very ordinary way: the colleague fixing a print queue midweek sits in the same team as the people who run your server, backups and online store, so the history never has to be retold.

All services

People and their devices

One helpdesk for the whole workforce, Windows and Mac problems solved over remote sessions, logins prepared before a newcomer's first day, and every door locked properly on a leaver's last one.

Infrastructure and cloud

Microsoft 365 run through Entra ID and Intune; machines hosted at Exoscale, Anexia, Hetzner or inside EU regions of the big hyperscalers; virtual servers, network monitoring, and backups we prove by pulling data back out of them.

Protection and regulation

Everyday GDPR practice alongside Austria's own Data Protection Act, a processing register kept current, NIS2 groundwork informed by CERT.at guidance and the national security handbook, endpoint detection, scanning for weak spots and simulated phishing.

Web and code

WordPress builds, Shopware or WooCommerce storefronts, eps and Klarna checkouts, connectors to Austrian Post, Amazon and willhaben, and bookkeeping links into BMD, RZL or Business Central.

Analytics and AI

A central data store, dashboards for directors, supplier bills and dispatch notes captured without typing, and AI tooling chosen with a strong preference for keeping information on EU soil.

Guidance and courses

Reviews of your estate, a digitalisation roadmap, advice on which licence tier to buy, and live online lessons ranging from Microsoft 365 essentials to level-headed use of AI at work.

The case for a remote-only model

Our engineers are spread out; there is no reception desk anywhere. We see that as the design, not a gap to apologise for. Without driving, nobody's afternoon is lost to a technician caught on the A1, and no invoice lists travel. Each ticket lands with the specialist best placed to solve it. In return we keep meticulous records, and those give you full traceability.

01

A single front door

Whether you mail helpme@apply.at, fill in the form or post in a joint Teams channel, the result is the same: a numbered ticket with a priority and a due time. No request disappears into somebody's private mailbox.

02

Time on the record

Each ticket logs the engineer, the minutes spent and the changes made. Out-of-scope work is flagged to you in advance, never discovered on a bill.

03

Physical jobs, coached

Where a cable or a box needs touching, one of your people or your usual electrician works from a written checklist, with our engineer watching along by video.

04

Month-end summary

Closed tickets, actual reaction times set against the SLA, backups confirmed, patches still pending, and finally our suggested next moves with a ballpark price.

Commitments in plain terms

Clear pricing
A bill that holds no surprises
Plans start at €890 per month plus VAT, and the written scope tells you precisely what that buys. Extras receive a separate quote and stay on hold until you approve.
See pricing
Access and data
One login per engineer, minimal rights
There are no team logins at Apply and no passwords handed from person to person. Every engineer signs in personally with a second factor, receives just enough privilege for the job in hand, and each session is bound to a ticket.
Paperwork we sign
Freedom to leave
Your records remain yours
Network maps, hardware lists and administrator logins are open to you whenever you want them. If you ever switch supplier, the exit routine was settled on day one.

Where a request ends up

Our desk is staffed Monday to Friday, 8:00-17:00 Austrian time. Premium customers additionally receive an out-of-hours line, listed in their contract only. Quick fixes are wrapped up by first-line staff; anything deeper moves directly to the relevant specialists.

Contact

Lines we will not cross

Three limits it helps to be aware of before asking for a price.

Nobody turns up in person

No site visits, no rack building. Cabling and hardware installation are outside our trade. If something must be done physically, we produce numbered instructions for whichever person or nearby company you ask to do it.

We sell no equipment

Advice yes, boxes no. We will recommend a notebook, server or firewall model and explain what matters when shopping around, but we take no margin on hardware and have none for hire.

Certificates are not ours to issue

Preparation is our part; certification is someone else's. Our working methods follow ISO 27001 principles and we can help you prepare for an audit. The certificate is always awarded by an accredited body, not by Apply.

Paperwork we sign

No remote session happens until the documents carry signatures. Draft versions accompany our offer, giving your solicitor or data protection officer time to read them properly.

Contact

Master agreement

Written for your organisation. Covers what we deliver, the fee, duration, how either party can terminate and who carries which obligations.

SLA

Reaction times are binding. Premium 15 minutes, Business 1 hour, Start 4 hours, all within Monday to Friday, 8:00-17:00 Austrian time.

DPA under the GDPR

A legal must for processors. Lists the personal data we process for you, its storage location and every sub-processor in the chain.

Confidentiality undertaking

In place ahead of any login. Protects business secrets, passwords and whatever else becomes visible to us within your estate.

Billing with hours attached

Digital, every month. Invoices follow each month or milestone as PDF files, or in ebInterface or ZUGFeRD format if you prefer, payable within 30 days and backed by a log of hours.

Need to query a contract or a bill? Payment matters belong with finance@apply.at, amendments to your agreement with corp@apply.at, and faults with helpme@apply.at. Choosing the right address gets your note to the right desk at once, with a reply inside one working day. We prefer email and video meetings, since a written trail protects you and us alike.

First steps together

Skip the homework: documenting your estate and listing equipment is what we do. The length of onboarding scales with your organisation and is fixed jointly.

01

Drop us a line

Use the form further down or mail office@apply.at with a sentence or two on your line of business and the current pain points.

02

Meet on screen

Half an hour via Teams or Google Meet, where we agree on the scope of the look-around and the person who will open the doors for us.

03

Stocktake

Working remotely, we catalogue user accounts, licences, servers, backup jobs and security configuration, then summarise it in a report you own outright.

04

Sign and take over

A plan is picked, signatures collected, logins transferred and your setup written down precisely in the state we inherited it.

Frequently asked questions

No, Apply keeps no meeting rooms. Our people are distributed, and every meeting takes place on Teams or Google Meet. We chose that deliberately: travel never appears on your bill, and your issue goes to whoever understands it best rather than whoever lives nearest.

A few do, but far fewer than you might expect, because today's IT consists largely of settings, cloud platforms and applications. The leftovers are manual: connecting a replacement router, changing a disk, relocating a PC. A colleague of yours handles those with us coaching. With no one available, we draft a job sheet for an independent technician whom you engage.

Individual logins protected by MFA, with no group accounts at all. Rights are handed out per task and revoked once it is done; each connection is recorded against its ticket. Confidentiality terms and the DPA are signed before anyone from Apply logs in.

That set-up frequently suits us best. Imagine a Salzburg law practice: the internal specialist stays in charge of case management software and day-to-day questions from colleagues, and we take on servers, protection and backups, covering holidays too. Who does what is documented, so no two people unknowingly tackle the same task.

Of course. A move to Microsoft 365 mail, a website overhaul or a security review each runs as a stand-alone assignment, priced individually or charged at €110 per hour plus VAT. A monthly plan can come later if it works out; otherwise every document we created stays with you.

Tell us about your IT

Give us a short picture of what is going wrong today and we will propose where to begin. Expect a reply inside one working day.
