Pricing for remote IT management

What a plan pays for is engineering capacity reserved for your systems, boundaries agreed on paper and a reaction time that is legally binding on us. Mileage and travel charges simply do not exist here, since our people never get in a car to see you; the whole job is done over remote connections. Figures for companies exclude 20% VAT.

Start, Business, Premium, or your own team

Moving up a tier buys faster reactions, more systems under our care and deeper monitoring and reporting. Organisations wanting fixed named engineers and a guaranteed pool of hours can opt for a dedicated team, priced to the actual workload.

Unsure which tier fits?
Ongoing IT care

Start

Designed around small teams lacking an in-house techie, say a Linz medical practice with a reception desk, two treatment rooms and a back office. We log every fault, apply the Windows and Office updates and sort issues out over an encrypted remote link. Nobody on your staff has to double as the administrator any more.

Business

One agreement covers workstations, servers in a data centre or the storeroom, the network and backups. It suits, for example, a tax advisory firm with thirty staff, its own file server and BMD. Should a cable need swapping, one of your staff handles it while our engineer gives directions over video.

Aimed at firms for whom sixty minutes of downtime would outweigh a whole month of fees: a webshop during the Christmas rush, a group practice fully booked for weeks, or a warehouse handing hundreds of parcels to Austrian Post every day. You get named contacts, a 15-minute reaction and a twelve-month IT roadmap.

Six things that move the number

Revenue plays no part in our maths. Effort does. Here is what we want to understand first.

Headcount and hardware

Everything else builds on this. Every mailbox generates queries, joiners and leavers. Every notebook or smartphone under Intune management brings its own patch cycle and rule set.

Your server estate

Counted one by one. A fully cloud-based office is light work next to a firm with a BMD box in the cellar, Azure resources in an EU data centre and a rented VPS behind the webshop. Each machine wants patches, alarms and backups that have been proven to restore.

Cover hours

Where costs climb steepest. Weekdays from 8:00 to 17:00 are straightforward. A contact who picks up on 24 December or around the 15 August bank holiday is a different proposition altogether.

Speed of reaction

Four hours, sixty minutes, a quarter hour. Start, Business and Premium respectively. Keeping the fifteen-minute promise means holding several engineers in reserve at once, which is reflected in the fee.

Rules you answer to

GDPR, NIS2, perhaps DORA. Proving your controls to an external assessor, a data protection officer or a demanding key account takes archived logs, periodic reporting and evidence filed where it can be found. That effort is real, and we include it whenever you require it.

Starting condition

Revealed in the first three months. Former employees with live logins, a password spreadsheet, PCs missing a year of patches: all of that gets tidied first. Once it is, incidents fall and the workload levels out.

Not part of the monthly fee. Subscriptions for Microsoft 365, endpoint security or bookkeeping software go straight to the publisher or dealer; Apply earns nothing on them. Anything with a defined beginning and end, a mail migration for instance or moving to PEPPOL e-invoicing, is offered separately and starts only with your written approval. Should a task require physical presence, a colleague of yours or a local contractor does it with our engineer coaching on video.

Three illustrations

Fictional businesses, though recognisable ones, matched to the tier they would most likely need. Your own price is set once we have reviewed your systems remotely.

SLA mechanics explained

Klagenfurt tax practice with eight employees

from €890 plus VAT/month

Start. Correspondence and client folders sit in Microsoft 365; practice software runs on a compact server. The sensitive bit is FinanzOnline and Business Service Portal access, which must work with ID Austria on each desk.

A maximum of 10 users
PCs, mail, Teams and shared printing
Weekdays, 8:00-17:00
Reaction inside 4 hours
Nights not included
Emergencies after hours by arrangement at €110 an hour plus VAT
Business plan

Webshop running its own stockroom, thirty employees

€1,890 plus VAT/month

Business. A Shopware outage the Monday a newsletter goes out means zero sales; a broken export to BMD means zero invoices. eps, Klarna, Post and DPD labels plus the hosting server all fall under the agreement.

Whole workforce, all hardware
One policy set pushed from Entra ID and Intune
Hosting and backup
Monitored, with test restores on the agreed schedule
Reaction inside 60 minutes
€1,890 monthly, 20% VAT on top

Automotive supplier operating three factories

from €3,490 plus VAT/month

Premium. With lines running around the clock in three shifts, whoever works nights deserves the same quick answer as the day shift.

Three sites, one baseline
A shared reference build everywhere
24/7 standby line
15-minute reaction; contact details appear only in the contract
NIS2-minded oversight
Log retention, metrics and a written briefing for directors

Further rates. A dedicated team, meaning permanent contacts, an account lead and a reserved block of hours, is priced from your task list. Work outside any plan costs €110 an hour plus VAT. Households pay from €69 incl. VAT for a remote session and €99 incl. VAT per hour.

From first contact to a firm offer

Four stages lie between your first message and a signature, and none but the final one binds you.

01

Short video chat

Twenty minutes via Teams or Meet, built around three points: team size, the applications you depend on and the hours during which you expect us to react.

02

Remote look-around

Temporary credentials let us inspect your tenant, hosts, backup jobs and access rights. If you end up choosing a competitor, the findings remain useful to you.

03

Line-by-line offer

Laid out in three plain columns: covered by the monthly fee, charged hourly, or worth a separate project at an agreed price.

04

Signatures and takeover

Main contract, SLA and DPA are executed. Then logins pass to us and we write up your environment.

Frequently asked questions

Net for businesses: 20% VAT is added when we invoice. Invoices come monthly or per milestone as a PDF, or as ebInterface or ZUGFeRD on request, due within 30 days. Private customers see gross figures instead: sessions from €69 and hours at €99, VAT included in both.

Nothing. You pay for a defined remit, not per ticket, so a flood of calls after a botched Windows patch leaves the fee exactly where it was. A lasting rise in staff numbers or an extra server entering production is another matter; then the contract's own rules guide a joint review of scope and fee.

Duration and notice are negotiated individually and recorded in the contract, alongside a clear exit routine: credentials, documentation and backup copies handed back, so you remain free to move on.

Certainly, and many do. A typical split: your in-house person stays the go-to for colleagues and industry applications, we run the servers, backups and security, and we can stand in during their holidays. We shape the remit around whatever is missing.

Either €110 an hour plus VAT or a flat sum named beforehand, and never without your go-ahead in writing; a quick email will do. We do not quietly start extra tasks and bill them afterwards.

No, and that is exactly what keeps the fees at this level. Encrypted remote access is our only tool, and it resolves nearly every everyday breakdown. When a device must be physically handled, our engineer talks the person on the spot through it by video, be that your employee or a service partner you pick, until things work again.
