Search engine optimisation (SEO)

SEO is often commissioned back to front. Someone asks for rankings on a list of keywords picked by gut feeling, and months later discovers those searches never bring in customers. We start from the opposite question: what does a person type into Google when they are about to hire you? Take an employment law firm in Innsbruck. The searches that matter include the city and a concrete problem, such as a dismissal, notice given during sick leave or unpaid overtime. They have less volume than a generic query for a lawyer in Tyrol, yet each visit is worth far more. There is also a local quirk: Austrian users search with Austrian vocabulary, and a site written purely in German-German wording misses out on traffic.

Everything this covers

We work on the three levers that make a site relevant to search engines and measure the outcome where it counts for you: in enquiries.

Settle the details with an engineer

Research by buying intent

We collect search terms from Search Console, ad data and conversations with your sales team, then rank them by how close they are to a purchase. Informational and commercial searches get different pages.

Austrian vocabulary

Marille rather than Aprikose, Matura rather than Abitur, Paradeiser rather than Tomate, Kollektivvertrag rather than Tarifvertrag. We check which variants your audience really uses and word pages to match.

Technical groundwork

Crawling and indexing, clean redirects, page titles and meta descriptions, load times against Core Web Vitals and structured data for organisation, services and FAQs.

Content that answers questions

Service pages and guides on the specific concerns of your customers, checked by you for accuracy. Ten thorough pages beat fifty shallow ones.

Local visibility

A Google business profile with the right category, current opening hours and photos, consistent listings on Herold and trade directories and a routine for handling reviews.

Measurement and reporting

Search Console and analytics with consent, goals for forms and bookings. Once a month a short report showing enquiries and visibility and naming the next steps.

Our working method

Early technical fixes often show results within weeks. For content and local visibility, allow several months.

01

Audit

Technical analysis, a Search Console review, a look at competitor sites in your region and a list of search terms with buying intent.

02

Quick fixes

Broken redirects, duplicate titles, blocked pages, missing structured data and the business profile. Most of this is done within the first few weeks.

03

Build out content

Following a plan we agree together, new or revised pages are produced. You supply the expertise; we supply structure and copy.

04

Measure and adjust

A monthly report and a short video call each quarter to decide what continues and what gets dropped.

For many businesses the Google business profile brings in more enquiries than half the website. For anyone serving customers in a particular area, a map listing with accurate hours, genuine photos, a fitting category and recent reviews often counts for more than any blog post. The profile costs nothing, yet it is widely neglected: last year’s hours, generic categories, reviews left unanswered. That is why we look at it first in every project.

Frequently asked questions

Technical fixes often show up after a few weeks. New content usually needs three to six months to rank steadily, depending on competition and starting position. If you need results sooner, combine SEO with paid ads for a transition period.

No, and anyone who promises that is not telling the truth. The order of results is decided by the search engine alone. We can improve the conditions and measure the effect, but we cannot force the outcome.

For a business operating mainly in Austria it sends a clear signal to search engines and customers alike. If you are also active in Germany and Switzerland, language folders and hreflang are an option. We discuss this based on your markets.

We write the structure and drafts, and you check the subject matter. On tax, legal or health topics that review is essential, and it makes the content more credible.

We agree a monthly block of hours at €110 per hour plus VAT, sized according to competition and goals. The initial audit is quoted separately.
